Elección: Genewise. La predicción de Genewise es más corta que la de Exonerate pero la homología de las secuencias es mayor. Seguramente por ese motivo la predicción de Genewise obtuvo un mejor score. La proteína predicha por selenoprofiles tiene la misma longitud que la nuestra predicha por Genewise y ambas terminan antes de alinearse con la selenocisteína en la proteína homóloga. Tiene un elemento SECIS predicho por selenoprofiles. Podría tratarse de una pérdida del exon que contenía la selenocisteína (región 3') en un evento de duplicación por ejemplo. |
